Group Sourcing Manager
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Group Sourcing Manager to join our supply chain function. You have the ownership of supplier relationships in your respected area; you work on supply base development, supplier negotiation and contracts, supplier performance management, and delivery of results and improvements according to the plan. You work in cooperation with multiple stakeholders, including Logistics Operations, Category Management and Operative purchasing. As we continue to grow, there are great opportunities to refine and develop our processes, and in this role, you’ll have a meaningful impact on how we work forward.
Key responsibilities
- Establish, maintain and develop contractual and business relationships with the suppliers
- Carry out tenders, negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure price competitiveness and service level as well as fulfillment of quality and sustainability requirements
- Acting as main interface to external suppliers and coordinate collaboration with various internal stakeholders to meet business needs
- Develop sourcing processes and practices in good collaboration with stakeholders
- Monitor agreed sourcing KPIs and driving improvement in them
What are we looking for
- Experience in sourcing and independent supplier management
- M.Sc. degree or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent
- Knowledge of category management, business and supply chain management
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and coordinate agreements with suppliers and stakeholders
- Ability to manage medium-to-large projects coupled with financial responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written Finnish and English proficiency, Swedish is seen as an advantage.
- Experience in retail is considered as an advantage
